Hi, when I was looking up random stuff I came across some vampire sites like this one and since I've always been sorta interested in vampires I decided to join. I still don't know if I truly believe in vampires but I definitely want to learn as much as I can. I love learning new and cool things haha.

I have researched other websites and They're all false the website and this forum are the only reliable information. Read the entire website it has all the needed information and also the forum has more than enough info. I'm a real vamp (born) any questions for me?

Yeah, the website connected to this forum seemed like it had information that made sense unlike some other sites that just seemed like BS. I'm still a little hesitant to full heartily believe but I've always been interested in vampires cause my friends and family say I act like one; pale skin, hate going outside during the day, mood swings, my cold and dark room. XD So because of this I was like, "why not research what actual vampires are like instead of what the media portrays haha. And I think my question for you is how did you feel when you had your awakening? Were you in shock? Did you have a negative reaction or a positive reaction? Thank you and sorry if that is a personal question you don't have to answer if you don't wanna.

I have every attributes in the how to know if you're a vampire page on the website other than the missing father one. When I got my awakening I wasn't really shocked and it was a positive reaction.

Thank you! Another question, do you feel like the vampire community is welcoming to new vampires? Like from your experience? (I feel like a real researcher hehe )

Yeah, it is from my experience. However it usually depends on the type of person you are. Just be yourself and be respectful.

I'm a vampire, been on this website since around 2010, a little after I started my awakening. I already knew what I was at that point but had never vocalised it and wasn't even researching "true vampirism" when I stumbled on Steve's website. I was just googling a subject I loved and never even thought there may be others. Anyway, I've been hardcore researching for at least ten years but had to burn a lot of it (Including a handwritten mirror of this website) after doing some stupid teenager stuff and getting arrested. I just recently made an account on the forum because I enjoy the community's focus on facts/ sources and refusal to enable. Most of the time, if someone is having a physical issue, I refuse to take them seriously if they havent made an attempt to check with a doctor or to consider more mundane rationale. I've really got this place to thank for making me value that line of thought. Anyway, let me know if I can help with anything. I'm also a teacher, so any chance to spread some knowledge and understanding is awesome to me.

Ah, so I've noticed the vampires I've talked to so far are born vampires, is that more common than being changed? Also does being a vampire affect your daily life? Thank you for your time. (Btw is that you in your pic? You are very pretty lol)

Ah, so I've noticed the vampires I've talked to so far are born vampires, is that more common than being changed? Also does being a vampire affect your daily life? Thank you for your time. (Btw is that you in your pic? You are very pretty lol) Hm, I would bet it is more common for people to claim to be born vampires but I cant say if it's truely the case or not. I cant honestly be sure I've ever spoken to a true vampire and it's more likely I haven't than have. I personally like Steve, the website creator, because he's an asshole and refuses to encourage anything that smells like bullshit. But I've never met him and without a face to face meeting, all I can do is trust my gut. I'm extremely interested in abnormal psychology/psychiatry, especially in regards to the occult, paranormal, metaphysical, and specifically vampires. I've had many personal experiences that confirm my belief in my vampirism and, through this belief, I've found the strength to improve my life in multiple ways. However, I'm a scientist at heart and without anything to compare to, I'm just a control group in a theoretical experiment, haha. Anyway, I'm a proud blood sucker and it does affect my daily life. There are aspects I'm always practicing or focusing on, especially energy manipulation, and I rely on some aspects of pagan tradition. The main affect on my life might be that I always get carded for cigarettes and I'm almost 26! That's not necessarily proof but if you saw pictures of me from the past ten years, it would be difficult to tell whats recent and what's old. Uh, I cant think of anything else, I'm tired (Day Job) but if you have more questions Im here. Thanks for the compliment btw, yeah that's me.
