Hey, so vampire or not, we were all born into this social contract. What do you do to try and put something positive into the world?
I work in childcare mostly, I had my own classroom for a couple years and took a break to be a nanny. I like working with autistic kids and kids with behavior issues because we seem to click well. I've also tried to stay involved in my local art and music scene. There was a coffee shop/ community center I managed that gave a lot of the local high school kids a safe and supportive place to go and we also raised money for local causes. Now I am trying to go back to school so I can animate educational programs for preschool aged children.
I wasn't always looking for ways to be a positive force in the world. I hid in the dark while my life was spiraling out of control around me, sometimes my fault, sometimes not. I was angry. Then I decided I was being a pathetic example of a person AND vampire and, while I considered myself powerful, I was wasting my gift. I keep my secret to myself. Noone knows that I am constantly using my abilities and to give me an edge in helping people (and, yeah, myself too sometimes) I transformed myself by accepting my nature and proving that I'm worthy of it and I dont plan on stopping.
Anyway, what do you guys do? What are your goals and how does vampirism affect these things for you?

Yeah I honestly hope I can keep the job I have because I do enjoy it. It's just that I have to work with a large amount of electrics which never work for me. I work at amazon btw at a warehouse! It's kinda funny like guys in there that work out everyday and have huge muscles lifting shit like it's heavy and little tiny old me walks in there a day after I had blood and lift a 150 pound box like it was a paperweight and I make them all feel bad about themselves XD.

I've always been super strong for my size. Im 115 lbs and 5'4" and I had to do community service at a boy scouts camp and, man, those guys were weak. I was goin nuts lifting hundreds of tents and poles and other gear to distribute around the campgrounds. Ive also gotten the nickname "Muscles" at a couple jobs. I love it.

I view the world through a child's eyes because children see everything.

I don't work since I take care of my grandfather, but what time I don't use to help my grandfather I use to either help people get through specific pains or problem, or I learn what it's like to have a specific pain. By pain I mean like depression, anxiety, etc. I've suffered with them growing up and couldnt stand to see others suffer with them, I decided early in my life to overcome and use my pain to help others get through theirs, and I started rambling, sorry about that, but that's what I do and why I do it.

Acer monitors, emachine computers, and android phones have by far the best survival rate with me.

I am currently in college, I have a little less than 2 years until I finish with my degree. I am hoping to work in the energy industry - research and implementing clean energy, possibly geothermal. Growing up I had a hard time trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to do because the only thing I definitely wanted was to help people and actually contribute something to the world. I ended up going with Civil Engineering but later switched to Geology/Environmental Geology and now know what it is I think I should do to actually contribute to this world in a positive way.

I currently work at a MOD pizza. It's one of the best jobs I've had in a long time. Sadly housing opportunities are abysmal where I live, so I'm currently living at a homeless shelter.
