Hello. You may call me Zelici. Most people do. I am not a vampire, but I am not a 'normal' human either. I'm not a half vampire either. I don't know how to put it.
More importantly! I have a friend who is a vampire and I want to learn more so I can help him. He doesn't have reliable internet so when he has problems or has a question I research for him. During that research I found the vampire website and read half of it already. I will finish reading it tomorrow. I'll be going to bed pretty soon so I will finish this tomorrow night. I do want to ask a question here even though I already asked Steve. I just want to see if I can get a answer sooner.
My friend is getting migraines from sunlight. I told him to wear sunglasses and sunblock, but I was wondering if there was something else he could do to help with the pain? He can't avoid the sun so I was wondering how other vampires deal with the sun so I can tell him.
Thank you very much.

To be honest, I sorta avoid it. If it's particularly sunny out, I stay indoors. Of course, sometimes this can't be avoided, so when that happens I usually wear a jacket to better cover my skin. It seems to work for the most part. As for my eyes, I always look at the ground because it's usually too bright. Also, as a side note, half vampires aren't a thing. You're either one or not. You can't have half the retrovirus.

I've also heard that consuming more blood can help, but I know that can be quite the challenge :/

I personally as a rule only go out without sunglasses on cloudy days, without skin covering on autumn or winter days, and even then, I'm keen on looking down more often than not. I used to wear hats that put shadow over my eyes, I had a flatcap that worked nicely. I've stopped wearing hats because they don't look good with my hairstyle, and my hair covers my eyes normally anyway. I've taken to wearing sweaters with deep hoods for the same purpose as the hats. Back in high school I would never take off my really well-tinted sunglasses, and that was heaven for my eyes. Hope this helps.

I know that. That was written when tired. I was trying to communicate that i am not a poser and my brain just did that. I have read the whole website in one go. X.x. I really shouldnt have done that. I was just so glad to find ACTUAL helpful information I couldnt stop.
And thank you for answering my questions.

No glasses on cloudy days? I always thought cloudy days were really bright still I can handle it fine enough if I don't look up often. Or in general at the sun. My eyes prefer the dark, but my sunglasses are magnetic and they fall off too often because I'm clumsy.( my limbs move faster than I predict and I end up bumping into things unintentionally or knocking things over, this often happens when I'm re-adjusting my body into a more comfortable position. But with the glasses, it's when I adjust my hair or do anything around my face)

Also, as a side note, half vampires aren't a thing. You're either one or not. You can't have half the retrovirus. It's true that there is no such thing as half vampires, but it is possible have segments of the endegenous retrovirus in your DNA causing some people to have a few vampiric traits. I'll probably go more into depth on this topic in later post. If its okay with the admins. I'm no expert on the subject, but I've done my homework.

No it isn't possible, no you won't be going in to more depth on it, and yeah you definitely aren't an expert seeing that you don't even get the basics right.

Sure, some of the traits may not be there or be different for different vampires, but usually it's the same. Hence his statement on at least 80-some-odd%? A vampire's a vampire, regardless of personal preferences.
