Thought that as I've already slightly ventured into this forum, I might as well introduce myself.
You can call me Zhi, but that's not my real name, which is in the works of being chosen for gender purposes, I'm almost set on Jessica, but that may not be final. I'm a trans girl who is kinda nerdy and loves to read and play video games. I can relate to about 90% of the traits on the website and am a little worried about the result when I(eventually) do test out number one.
I've always been fascinated by the idea of vampires and would read pretty much any book related to them.(While it was well written as a book, twilight vampires were ridiculous) I would like to chat with any real vampires who have spare time to sate curiosity and soothe any worries/fear I have about myself.
Added notes; Blood upsets me in a confusing way; while a bit curious about taste, seeing a cut on myself normally doesn't make me panic or anything, but I either wash it or patch it up in some manner anyway. As for other people's cuts, scrapes, or any bleeding injury I cannot look, it makes me shudder to think/feel the pain they felt during the incident. This feeling also applies to seeing most photos or videos of injuries. I'm not sure what this would mean, probably because I'm just too empathetic. I hope this feeling will go away over time or after enough exposure.

I'm Emilee and am a vampire. Weirdly enough, I'm squeamish in the same way. Seeing wounds or the act of inflicting wounds bothers me to a point I have to avoid it, the sight of blood by itself doesn't bother me, though. I never thought it would be because of my enhanced empathy, though. Interesting take on it. I'm also a book worm and pretty much read any fictional book if it includes a character of the occult. I'm an artist and writer, and I'm happy to help answer any question I can.

Yeah! I'm freelance, though I'll admit to not having much income based on art alone xD No one really wants cartoony styles I guess. I drew my icon.

That's actually not true, I know sooo many cartoon artists that are really successful, and I've always loved your icon btw, that's really cool that you drew it

Nah, it's cool I actually thought about doing something similar but decided against it, eventually though I'm gonna make a better gif for my icon

Well, for the steak test, what's the best way to cook it to ensure it still has as much blood as possible? Are there less drying methods of cooking?

Honestly I don't think it really matters, you'll get results just fine from grilling it

I grilled mine, yeah. As long as it bleeds, basically. You don't want the most blood, because if you aren't a vampire too much iron for a human is dangerous. And the steak test is go test it, after all.

If you're upset by that typo, you should see my average minecraft chattiness... Horrendous.

So, about the 4 bags of Jerky I ate today, I honestly forgot to take a photo of my skin before-hand, but I may see a little pinkishness. To make sure, I'll go buy a steak and double check that after payday. (usually I have ivory skin with maybe some pink around my joints.)
