Although I'm quite certain that nobody here practices Christianity, I was just wondering if there is anyone here who is familiar with Christian theology that can explain to me how vampirism would be viewed? I know it's probably pretty certain that the answer is simply "negatively", and that we would likely be considered foul creatures of the satan, but I'd like to think there is some hope for preservation from damnation for those of us who were born this way, unwillingly, as we each have the free will to ask for salvation of the spirit, which would not be bound to the physical, vampire body upon death. Personally, as aforementioned, I believe that in cases such as my own, I would be able to choose upon my free will what will become of my soul, as well as choosing not to carry out any self-indulgent ideas.
Thanks, Dr. Gluckenstein

You won't go to hell just for being a vampire.
