How do I even begin to describe myself? Eccentric? Dark? Brooding? Full of laughter? In truth, I'm all of these things. There are actually two sides of me which I have taken to naming as though I have MPD.
There's the happy goofball, I describe her as Jennifer LaCroix. She's full of life and loves to giggle. She's a hopeless romantic, and a ball of fun. She's the vampire who wears bright red and loves to play in the rain. She comes out very rarely, and only one or two people can really coax her onto the wheel.
Then there is the silent outcast, Thorne LaCroix. She's the main personality of the two; dark, brooding, and overall cynical. She overrides Jennifer most times after an intense giggle session. Where Jennifer lives for fun, Thorne lives for sophistication, understanding, and the unending thrill of learning. She's normally attires herself in the dreary blacks, dark-greys, and reds that one might call a Hollywood goth, but it has little to do with her image. To her, it's a camouflage in a world of vibrant colors. Black resonates with her, always pries her eyes away from the bubbly folk. She enjoys dark humor, writing poetry, and reading to her heart's content. She is an eclectic witch, and previously she was a psi-vampire though her attunement to siphoning the energy from other folk has diminished entirely. Thorne is an introvert, spending more time with one or two people than she would at a party.
Both personalities are inside one body, and the body itself has a few key features that should be mentioned. Firstly, my name is Jennifer. I am a transgender MTF pre-op in a poly relationship with my loving partner. While Thorne is my main personality, I keep the name Jennifer as my identity for disguise reasons. Not many people will hire someone who puts themselves out as super goth. I hate very little, and love very much despite my outwardly unapproachable appearance. I have a crippling social anxiety. If someone approaches me in person, I will sooner faint than speak. I have a few poems that I've written, and I love putting my emotions into the pen. Further than that, there's little to tell.
