Hi, I'm new to this website and live in Syracuse but go to Rochester a lot for book conventions, so if anyone is in need of a donor or just wants a friend in those two areas, just message me on here, thanks.

I'm in Rochester, I've never been to a book convention in my life though.

That's okay, not many people I know go to them, I usually just go to them at Nazareth college in May.

What kinds of books have they been for, or is it just in general sort of thing?

They have a ton of authors there, two years ago they had Jesse Andrews who wrote me and earl and the dying girl, and the author of the rebel belle series and Gayle Foreman. I go to get autographs, to cosplay, and to get my blog and writings out there as well to learn more about writing and publishing.

That is a lot of good reasons to go.

Did you move from here to Syracuse, or just visit here a lot and have a bunch of friends here?

I just visit a lot because my sister goes to school and Buffalo and Rochester is a happy medium, plus I used to go there for state DECA championships, at least I did my senior year and I got to explore a bit.

Did DECA teach you how interest works, or did they tell you how to get a loan?

it was more like improv and business, which I knew nothing about, I just sort of winged it and got second place without any practice which led me to go to the states at some hotel in Rochester with a few others from my school. But I learned a little bit about loans in my economy class

Learn about how interest actually works, loans really aren't a great idea. Long term investing in stock is a far better idea which i wish i did when i was younger. But only do it by going to the exchange in nyc and buying it yourself, because the most honest broker on the planet will tell you that they are making a large percentage off of you as a the middle man, most will take it and run while telling you that they are reinvesting it all. The rest will give you bs about there being a, b, and c, types of stock in truth when you actually own it you can do all 3 things. Quarterly dividends literally pay you every 3 months for doing nothing more than having stock in that company.

You want a fairly steady company that has been around for a little while, and if they start exporting jobs, ditch them.
