My advice on not being nervous in cases like this where you can't just ignore it, is to just try to accept it the way it is and tell yourself that there's nothing wrong with it, because there's not. One way is to just trick your mind into making yourself think it's a good thing rather than a bad thing. But honestly, the only thing that would be new is that you would have to eat a lot of steak and jerky and/or find a donor. And you'd also just know why you have those traits. And of course, you always might not really be one :3 just pointing out that there's nothing to worry about.

Also, you don't have to list the traits you have because everyone knows what they are and its just more to read. :3

I guess that is a lot to read. I shall remove this, I believe. Thank you for answering. You helped me feel a bit better ^-^

Remember, realizing you're. Vampire doesn't actually change aything in your body. If you were a vampire before your awakening, you'll be the same after it. Be careful not to put yourself in a placebo.

Be careful not to put yourself in a placebo. I made quite sure to avoid any placebo effect, but that's still a good thing to remember. I think I didn't really clarify well why I was nervous. I have a long history with judgement, and I don't like it when people have reasons to judge me. It's more the idea of the public opinion that made me nervous than anything else. It's not that I'm afraid of dietary changes or anything like that. Thank you for responding, though. Advice is always appreciated ^-^

I'm just saying if you feel like your senses are enhanced after feeling like you might be a vampire, you may not be in actuality. Born vampires, the only vampires who go through Awakenings, don't experience our senses enhancing because they've been enhanced our whole lives. We simply considered it normal until our Awakening. Like I said, an Awakening is simply a term used to describe a vampire who finally realized they're a vampire. If you feel like you're going through an Awakening and your body is going through changes, that's a placebo and you're not a vampire.

If you feel like you're going through an Awakening and your body is going through changes, that's a placebo and you're not a vampire. To be honest here, that was bad wording on my part. The senses I referred to were meaning my own sense of self awareness and connection to the world around me. I have always noticed these things, but distracted myself from them after inconclusive research. Every once in a while I'd stop to again question myself, and this time actually found some useful information. It was meant to establish that I had once again become curious about my own state of being and differences from other people. It happens a lot but I let it pass without too much thought.
