No i'm becoming their friend just because they're vampire .. I love making new friends .. I talk to everyone on this website .. I've made quite good human friends .. So nobody's my friend because of my personal benefit or something like that ..!

That's good! I wasn't saying you were, I just meant, don't do that if you meet a vampire.

I think an easier way of approaching a Vampire would probably just get to know them before being straightforward saying "are you a Vampire?!" else they'll probably be in an uncomfortable position as they may not want to say or for any reason as a matter if fact. Maybe but not saying they will be. It also depends whether you know the person or not as if it was a stranger, that would be harder whereas if it's someone you know and get on well with, it's much easier. I have never approached a Vampire although, this is just what I think. I may be wrong but meh

We're still people. How would you feel if someone randomly approached you like, 'Wow, you're a girl/boy/etc? Let's be friends!' Its like, awkward because you know they only approached you because of what you happen to be. I've never had it happen to me before, (though I had a little girl think I was a mermaid from my long hair xD) but still, we're people.

I'm only saying I would want to be sure I have a good reason for something permanent, you can do it however you like, but the vampire you ask to turn you will ask why and you should at least have some good reason that is true, that is if you want to actually be turned, it's up to you

I would be very uncomfortable if a random person walked up to me and asked if I was a vampire. I have had it happen to me before, and I was in public. I prefer to tell people in my own time, and on my own terms. I tell people who I trust and who are my friends. I wouldn't want someone to try to befriend me because their sole interest was vampirism. I want to be respected as a person first.

I can see why, not only would that be extremely awkward, but unfair too :/

Well, mermaids are pretty free spirited a and don't really have anything to stress over so I don't think it would be any more difficult than just being a vampire

I'm assuming we're talking mythology here?

Mythology or theories, I just personally love mermaids xD I studied hard into them just recently. Fae, too, because I was curious. Weird, I know, but I love things of the occult xD

I know it's really awkward to be directly asked if u'r a vampire .. I'm with u on the part where u say that u want to be respected as a person first
