Hello all,
I am new, I found Steve's site last weekend and I have read every page, some a few more than once. the traits page was a great source of information and whilst not all apply to me 75% do. Sunlight effects me terribly, I have been seen by two Dermatologists however, neither found anything abnormal with my skin except it was at the time very pale, I blister horribly, even with UV factor 50. Also my ex was a vegetarian, I am not, so I could only eat meat once a week, we split up six weeks ago, I went crazy blue steaks three of them and nothing else on the first day, then one a day for the rest of the week, now I have at least three a week. I was no longer lethargic, my colour has imporved no end, everything about me is well, better, my eyes are whiter my hair looks amazing. In fact a friend told me I actually looked alive, no longer drawn.
Thoughts please, confused, any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know, it sounds like you are one but at the same time I'm not 100% sure. It might help if you pay attention to how long the color lasts for one steak, if you can, but either way it sounds like you need the steak so you should keep eating it.

Hello Thanks for your reply, i will take note of how long one lasts, but to be honest I have been eating so much of over the last six weeks that other thing is that (I put this on another post) that the steak seems to not be enough any more, dont know if that makes sense what I do know is it is costing me a small fortune at my butchers. But as I say many thanks for your response, this is all so new and any advice is very much appreciated.

No problem, also this is just a theory of my own, but do you think you might feel like you need more than steak because you'd think a vampire would need more than that? The brain has a funny way of tricking the body sometimes.

Thank you again,
Interesting concept and one that I have not considered, whilst I do beyond any doubt at all feel far better than I think I ever have, maybe my brain is screaming more, more. It is quite striking though the difference in me in such a short space of time. I simply cannot remember the last time I felt this well, the few friends that I have all comment on it. I have far better hand eye coordination, concentration is greatly improved also, God knows how much iron I have consumed over the past weeks, I think the only way I can put it is that I feel alive. I have never before had a blood fixation, nor fetish of any degree, if anything I have always been a little squeamish really. I suppose as my body has needed blood for so long and has been denied it my brain may indeed have gone into overdrive. Very insightful berkthefirst you have certainly given me food for thought so to speak, I will certainly take what you have said and bring everything under control to truly ascertain what the benefits of a single steak to me are and the time that benefit lasts.
Again many thanks
Kali

Hello again berkthefirst.
I am sorry to bother you again. However, I have noticed this morning when putting on some eye makeup that the dark ring around my iris appears to have become more pronounced since I have been taking blood, I have returned to Steve's site yet I cannot seem to find any comments regarding this, do you know if it is normal for the iris ring to becomemore defined? My eyes are dark brown and the ring is well almost black. I imagine that it would be logical when a Vampire takes blood that some characteristics maybe enhanced in some way. Please accept my apologies once more however, I seem to have far more questions than I do answers at the moment.

I think your just expecting these things to be a certain way so you're looking for anything that might possibly point to vampirism. It's very possible you're not even a vampire, but again that doesn't mean you aren't, just take that into consideration and maybe some things you think are odd you will notice are really quite normal. That aside, no I haven't ever heard of anything like that happening, although you should really wait for someone else to comment as well because it's always a good idea to have more than one source, especially since I'm not a vampire and haven't experienced these things for myself.

Also don't be afraid to ask questions, this site gets quiet anyways so it's always nice when someone has a genuine question.

Thank you,
I know now what I am, the changes are far too dramatic to ignore any longer, I am still very pink at the moment, head to toe, I have never been like this in my entire life. I just don't want that to go away, my ex said my skin was the colour of milk. Since i have awoken it is an asault on the senses, everyting is hightend, brutal at times, the sounds the aromas, never have I felt this, it is a revelation to me. Wonderful, yet hard to grasp the concept. I did not understand, then I have gone back to Steve's site, all makes sense, I am Vampire, do all feel pain as they awaken?

You're describing a placebo, my dear. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but you want to be a vampire so badly that you think everything you experience is related to vampirism. You need to relate to those traits more than 80%, he states that clearly (last I checked). Like I mentioned earlier, you weren't entirely vegetarian but had meat once a week. Which is bad because you're not entirely one or the other in terms of vegetarian and carnivore. So you would feel sickly, you would want more because your body does. The ring around the iris doesn't darken, in my experience it's always been the same darkness and I have blue eyes. We don't directly crave blood either. You're under your own placebo. You are not a vampire.

Also, that's not how awakening works. I've always had heightened senses, the sun problem and etc for my entire life. I didn't just get them like you did when I began to think I was a vampire. No, awakening is just a simple realization that you are a vampire, but nothing changes within you.

Thank you for being honest with me. I so desperately wanted this to be true, not for me but my children and grandchildren, ever since I was a young girl I have always been sickly and weak, I was useless as a child and still useless as a grown woman. My first husband left me because he got sick of looking after me, half the time I didn’t go out with my children always in bed to tired all the time. I couldn’t even give birth on my own, I thought that maybe just maybe if I was awakening I would be able to be a better grandmother than I ever was a mother. I have no doubt that something is happening to me what I have no idea, I have only one alternative I have to be turned. I understand it will not remove problems however, I would be stronger and be far more able to give what I never could. If in the meantime I would still like to come here and be friends with you all if I may. Thank you.

Thank you, I do appreciate honesty, but my goalnow is to keep doing what I am doing, learn all that I can do, and eventually find someone that can turn me.
