Wouldn't thicker axons also explain things such as increased intelligence or increased reflexes due to the increased efficiency in which signals could be tranferred allowing for quicker thought processing, and possibly the heightened senses overall for the sme reason. My logic based on the increased sesnsed boils down to the thought that with a larger surface area, more information could be sent at the same time, in sights as you said, as well as hearing, smell, touch, taste, and intuition.

Regarding the increased tolerance for iron, could it be that the red blood cells have an increased limit to the amount of hemoglobin sites allotted, enabling more iron to be used, especially from blood directly seeing as it would already be in the necessary form? This could possibly explain the shallow breath, more hemoglobin sites would make the blood more oxegen rich from the same air intake, reducing the amount of air actually needed for the individual. This makes me wonder, is heart rate considerably lower for "vampires?" An increased amount of oxegen in the blood would also reduce the rate at which blood needed to be transported through the body. For example, when sleeping alone do you know if your heart rate drops below 50 bpm?

While iron levels are normal, the red blood cell counts tend to be really low, bp is generally low as well. Some of us think it may be high heme levels making the rest appear low, or that heme has a different structure. But good question.

How do I know if I am a real vampire? I have all the signs except the blood and pretty much been a vegetarian most of my life. I have depression . I am anemic. I feel more alive at night. Strange Dreams. My eyes change colors depending on what's going on. I am sure I left some things out but I just need to know.

Are the benefits of being a vampire worth any possible "negative" side effects. I guess what I am asking is that if given the opportunity, would any of you choose to be "normal"?

I have a question and it is not meant to be a challenge, truly curious: the hearing test was not excruciating to me, in fact I only heard one sound in the beginning... But, if it is so excruciating then I just wonder how you can deal with anything at all. Hearing a person breathe, typing on your computer, walking down the street. Closing a door. How do you manage with that?

Most just get used to it, some never do.

How can you deal with any sound at all if those very quiet sounds hurt your ears? That confuses me. I am completely sensitive to sound. Cars passing by, doors opening, a person who begins talking. It feels like it pierces me... Most noises bother me and it worsens everyday. As far as light goes it bothers me too. Pretty much any light at all will give me a headache. Sometimes I feel like my head is just going to explode simply by the existence of everyday life in this world. In the quiet cold dark I feel calm and cool, everything begins to feel soothed but even the electrical appliances and the dim light from my stereo has the potential to give me a headache and/or nausea but I listened to that youtube video and only heard one sound the entire video... So I don't understand. Anyways I'm just curious I know I'm a vampire and I have quite a bit in common with a newly turned vampire who is "lying dormant".... Still trying to figure it out. Hoping someone can HELP me with this. Whether that be determining if i am or am NOT a vampire.... I don't care if I'm not or if I am but I just need some guidance. <<<< didn't notice there was a second page to this thread, that's why I asked the question twice. I thought a mod or something might have deleted it so I asked again Thanks for answering though!

Second edit: a newly turned vampire lying dormant is not the only thing I identify with, I've been researching it since I was 16 yrs old and read on one site about there being different levels of the vampirism. Such as an inheritor, classical, ageless, night-timer and sanguinarian... They are like different classifications. First one is a turned one, or however it came to be (ageless). Next strength would be the offspring of one with one parent being full vampire and the other being like half or something, which I think causes the offspring to be at 2/3 strength (classical). Then there is an ageless who has mated with a human to create a sort of half-vampire (inheritor). Then there are inheritors and classicals that have breeded with humans which then created vampires at 1/3 strength or 1/4 strength (night-timers). A sanguinarian could be any random strength (and I mean strength in lineage here not just physical strength, I mean like strength in the DNA carrying down the line, generation to generation) of a vampire who has been created by a night timer and human mating... Or that offspring mating with ANOTHER human, and then that offspring mating with a human and so on and so on.... Most vampire sites will discourage all of the OTHER vampire sites, like only one of them can be right... But really they are all the same aside from the different theories and individuals who seem to be gathering with other like-minded individuals. Yes lots of posers and lots of young people, teens and such looking for a fun time but basically when it comes to legit members they are not so different from one another. My point is most people discourage the info on that site I found but I for one beleive it to be true, at least theoretically it could be. As far as hVERV goes that does not exist medically unless it's been classified as "top secret" by the gov. Or something and that is why apparently it does not exist online, and apparently it's from the movie "ultra-violet"? so I feel like that discredits this site unless I'm totally missing something. Sorry if that is rude but Im just not gonna fall for fake stuff like I did when I was younger.
